I tried to get an early start but was up too late online last night. So, I'll be running into the night again tonight. The moon is starting to make its way back after being dark for the past week. I don't think there will be any established place to stay in Clairemont tonight but after that there are good size cities all the way to Texarkana.

My schedule looks like this:

12/16 Clairemont 39 miles
12/17 Aspermont 37 miles
12/18 Haskell 37 miles
12/19 Throckmorton 33 miles
12/20 Newcastle 27 miles
12/21 Graham 25 miles
12/22 Jacksboro 27 miles
12/23 Decatur 36 miles
12/24 Denton 23 miles
12/25 380/75 Junction 32 miles
12/26 Bonham 35 miles
12/27 Paris 35 miles
12/28 Clarksville 28 miles
12/29 New Boston 38 miles
12/30 Texarkana 25 miles

That will be a 2000 foot elevation drop over the next two weeks. Texarkana is at 336' above sea level. At that time I will be 80% done mileage-wise and 76% done time-wise. Heidi will come down to visit until 1/2/05 and I will be around 80% for both time and mileage. So, everything is still on target for the 1/27/05 arrival at the Atlantic Ocean!

Today looks like another sunny, 55 degree day with some wind from the north. The next few days should have similar weather but I don't think I'll sneak across Texas rain-free. Just about time to pack it up and head it out!
